Buselmeier and Daily Named American Conference Scholar-Athletes of the Year

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point's Joseph Buselmeier and Bryson Daily have been selected as 2024-25 American Conference Scholar-Athletes of the Year, recognizing their outstanding academic and athletic accomplishments.
Joseph Buselmeier, a standout gymnast, was named the conference's At-Large Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year, an honor reserved for top student-athletes competing in non-conference-sponsored sports.
A 2025 graduate, Buselmeier completed West Point's competitive Kinesiology program with a record-setting 4.23 GPA—the highest cumulative score in the program's history since its inception in 2008.

Academically, Daily distinguished himself through a senior capstone project focused on operational efficiency at a U.S. Army Special Operations training facility. His research, which utilized advanced systems engineering tools and simulation models, was presented at the General Donald R. Keith Memorial Conference, where it earned Best Presentation honors.
