Mayes Named to East-West Shrine Bowl 1000
July 28, 2025 | Football
WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point junior cornerback Jaydan Mayes was named to the Shrine Bowl 1000 on Monday morning.
The Shrine Bowl 1000 is an annual watch list compiled by the East–West Shrine Bowl organization that highlights the top 1,000 eligible college football players—across all four NCAA divisions—who are considered prospects for the upcoming Shrine Bowl all-star game and the corresponding NFL Draft class.
Mayes, a junior from Fairfield, Ohio, was tied for the team lead with four interceptions, led the team with seven passes defensed, and totaled 29 tackles a season ago.
Mayes has appeared in 23 career games for the Black Knights and has totaled eight interceptions.
The Shrine Bowl has acknowledged that assembling the list was a rigorous process, involving scouting across all four levels of football and consultation with NFL and college personnel to ensure the selection of the top 1,000 players suited for the NFL level.
The East-West Shrine Bowl is a best-in-class all-star event that will take place at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, TX, on January 27, 2026. Our players will be coached by NFL coaches, in an NFL facility, and will have access to NFL-level resources, facilities, player-friendly schedules, and opportunities at the highest level.
