Football Welcomes Incoming Class of 2029

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point football and head coach Jeff Monken officially welcomed the Class of 2029 to the program on Reception Day at the United States Military Academy on Monday.
"We're excited to welcome the next generation of leaders to the Army Football Brotherhood," said Monken. "The Class of 2029 is an impressive group — high-achieving student-athletes and emerging leaders who have chosen to serve something bigger than themselves. They'll make an immediate impact on our program this fall and in the years ahead. I'm proud of our coaching staff for bringing in such a high-character group from all corners of the country."
The Black Knights welcome 68 newcomers from 26 states, with Texas leading by contributing 14 new members to the squad.
Last season, Army posted a historic 12-win campaign, the most in program history, including significant victories over Louisiana Tech at the Independence Bowl, Tulane to win the AAC Championship in their first season in a conference, and over service academy foe Air Force.
The Black Knights will open the 2025 season on the banks of the Hudson at Michie Stadium on Friday, August 29, against Tarleton State with eyes set on reclaiming the coveted Commander-in-Chief's Trophy.
