Twelve white stones symbolize the team's 12 victories—the most in a season in program history. Above the trophy, seven black stones signify the Black Knights' undefeated 7–0 record at Michie Stadium. One side of the ring honors the AAC Championship, engraved with the words "AAC Undefeated," highlighting Army's perfect 8–0 conference record. This side also displays the official AAC Football Championship logo, the final score of the title game, and the date and location of this milestone in Army Football history.
The opposite side features the team's final national ranking of No. 21 in the Associated Press Poll, marking the program's second Top 25 finish in the last seven years. Below, the Independence Bowl final score borders the bowl's logo, commemorating Army's sixth bowl appearance in the past nine seasons. Beneath the logo, three silver stars and two gold stars represent victories over service academy rivals during the past four years.
When worn, the inside of the ring reveals the phrase "Last of the Hard" engraved across the band, a tribute to the team's legacy of toughness and resilience.
