WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point Baseball dropped a 12-2 decision to the Fordham Rams Saturday.

The matchup was the first at Doubleday Field in 2025.

After the Rams got on the board with a run in the second and two in the third, Army made it 3-2 on a two-run double from Jack Quinlan.

Fordham added to its lead with runs in the sixth, eighth and ninth innings.

Starting pitcher Justin Lehman allowed four total runs and struck out three, but took the decision across 5.2 innings.

Andrew Berg pitched 1.1 innings in relief, recording a strikeout. Mark Abell tossed the eighth and ninth innings.

By the Numbers

2: Quinlan recorded two RBIs Saturday.

3: Lehman had three strikeouts across his 5.2 innings pitched.

Black Knight Notes

Justin Lehman for the first time this season, pitched but did not hit for himself.

John McKillop made his first start in the field, at right field, after previously starting two games in the DH spot.

The teams head back to The Bronx Sunday for a 12:00 p.m. series finale at Fordham.
