Rucker, Scovens Given Patriot League All-League Honors

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Senior guard Jalen Rucker and sophomore Josh Scovens were named on Patriot League All-League teams on Monday.
Jalen Rucker earned a spot on the Patriot League All-League First Team while Josh Scovens was voted to be on the Patriot League All-League Second Team.
Jalen Rucker wins the honor after finishing the season averaging 17.7 points a game, 3.1 assists per game and 1.3 steals a game. Throughout the season, Rucker was named the Patriot League Player of the Week four times, the most out of any player in the league this season.
This is Jalen Rucker's third All-League selection and second All-League First Team selection of his career. Rucker is also the first player since Mark Lueking (1933-96), to earn Patriot League All-League First Team honors twice in their career. He has also totaled seven Patriot League Player of the Week honors, tied for the most in program history with Jarell Brown (2004-08).
Josh Scovens earns his honors after finishing the season averaging 16.0 points per game, 4.4 rebounds per game and 1.3 blocks a game. This is the first All-League honor he's earned in his career at West Point, as well as being named the Patriot League Rookie of the Year and to the Patriot League All-Rookie Team last season.
Jalen Rucker, Josh Scovens and the rest of the Black Knights hope to make a splash in the Patriot League Tournament as they head to Hamilton, New York to take on Colgate. The quarterfinal round takes place on Thursday, March 6 at 6 p.m., with the game streaming live on ESPN+ and the Varsity Network.
