Wrestling to Host Navy for the Star Match

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point Wrestling has a singular mission Sunday.

The Black Knights and the Midshipmen square off in a renewal of the Star Series presented by USAA at Christl Arena, with Army seeking to defend the Wrestling Star.

FloWrestling will broadcast the rivalry dual, which will commence at 4:00 p.m.

Army goes into the match at 6-3 in dual competition, and 3-2 vs. EIWA opponents. The Black Knights go into the Star Match winners of last year's iteration in Annapolis, 18-17 in a dual that came down to the final bout.

Seven Black Knights head into the dual ranked in the latest InterMat and FloWrestling rankings. Additionally, the second NCAA Coaches Poll rankings and first RPI Rankings were released Thursday, with seven and eight Army wrestlers featured, respectively.

Star Series Update

Army heads into the weekend with a 9-7 lead in the 2024-2025 Star Series presented by USAA. Women's Basketball and Men's Basketball will see their Stars awarded in Annapolis Saturday, one day before the Wrestling Star.

Next Up

Army concludes the regular season with its senior day match vs. Binghamton February 23. First bout at Christl Arena is set for 2:00 p.m.
