Johnny Crush, Molly Webber Earn Patriot League Swimmer of the Week Titles

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Army West Point swimming & diving put on a strong performance against VMI and senior Molly Webber and Johnny Crush earned the first Patriot League Swimmer of the Week titles of the 2025-26 season.
Webber, a sophomore from Morris Plains, N.J., helped the Black Knights to a dominating win over the VMI Keydets on October 3rd in a 172-33 victory for Army. Webber earned a trio of first place finishes during the meet, putting up a 9:56.93 in the 1000 free, a 50.18 in the 100 free, and a 1:32.62 in the 200 free relay.
Her 1000 free time marked a new program record for the women's team, replacing her own previous program record holding time of 9:58.91 set in 2023.
Crush, a sophomore swimmer from Louisville, Ky., earned two first place finishes and a third-place finish for Army in their 148-57 win over VMI. He first earned a first-place finish in the men's 200 medley relay (1:25.50) as the leadoff swimmer, first place in the men's 100 fly (47.09), and third place in the men's 200 free relay (1:23.14).
In just his second standalone fly race for the Black Knights, Crush's time of 47.09 stands as the fourth-fastest 100 butterfly time in men's program history.
The Black Knights will return to action Friday-Saturday October 17-18th at the Georgia Tech Dual Meet Tournament in Atlanta, Ga. Army will first face off against Florida State on the 17th at 1 p.m. ET.
