Army West Point Golf Earns Second Place Finish at Commander-In-Chief’s Cup

MAMARONECK, N.Y. – Army West Point golf finished play at the historic Winged Foot Golf Club on Wednesday afternoon. The Black Knights shot 1406 (+146), earning a second-place finish behind the Navy Midshipmen. The highest finisher for Army was Tyson Sparks with a fourth-place finish shooting 75-75-81-231 (+21).

Notables

The Black Knights had four golfers finish in the top 10: sophomore Tyson Sparks, senior Rob Ferris, junior Drew Jeffords and freshman Grant Paolucci
The stroke play marks the first of three events the Black Knights will play in the state of the New York
Senior Rob Ferris earned two eagles in round three on hole No.9 and hole No. 12
Junior Drew Jeffords earned the third best score for round two with a 74 (+4)
