Army Football: By the Numbers at the First Bye Week

WEST POINT, N.Y. -- Army West Point football enters its first open week of the season with a perfect 2-0 record. Following this open week (Sept. 14), Army will return to Michie Stadium for an AAC match vs. Rice (Sept. 21).
By the Numbers:
2-0 – Army begins the season 2-0 for the first time since 2021 and for the fifth time in the Jeff Monken era.
390.0 – As a team, Army has rushed for 780 yards (390.0 avg.), second best in the FBS behind UCF (419.0). They are the only two teams in the country that have totaled over 700 rushing yards.
8 – Army's eight rushing touchdowns are tied for most in the AAC with Navy.
7 or less – Army is one of 13 teams in the nation to allow 7.0 points per game through the first two contests. It is also the best mark in the AAC.
1st – Slot Back Noah Short leads the AAC with 243 rushing yards on only 19 carries (12.8 avg.) through two games, ranking 15th most in the entire FBS.

7-for-7 – Army began the season seven-for-seven in scoring touchdowns in the red zone to begin the season before settling for a field goal.
