The Black Knights will look for the first win of the season in the Centennial State, having defeated Air Force 3-2 to commence last year's slate.

Army leads the overall series 17-10-4 but will seek its first win in Colorado Springs since 2013. The Black Knights are 4-3-1 in their last eight meetings with the Falcons since 2012.

Notes and Storylines

» The Black Knights fell in a closely contested match Sunday at Penn State.

» Ronald Zhai scored in the 16' off the assist from Kai Thomas, but the Nittany Lions tallied two corner kick goals in the second half as Army fell 2-1.

» Zhai was named Patriot League Rookie of the Week on Monday.

» Army left its season opener at Temple August 22 with a 1-1 draw.

» In the 71' Gage Lyons drew contact on the edge of the 18-yard box after receiving the ball from Jack Meyer, swiftly earning a trip to the penalty spot and connecting in the bottom right corner of the net to bring Army level.

» Army outshot Temple 17-16.

» Goalkeeper Blair Camargo made seven saves in his collegiate debut.

» Nine Black Knights made their career debuts at Temple: Camargo, Ryan Behrmann, Kasem Minzey, Justin Davidyock, Thomas, Zhai, Miles Hadley and Jack Kryger and Liam Tucker.

» Camargo has started in each of the side's two fixtures to commence 2024, recording seven saves at Temple on opening night and two saves at Penn State.

Looking Ahead

The Black Knights return home this weekend to face Sacred Heart on Monday for the team's home opener. Army will then host Marist Sept. 5.
