Track & Field Sees Ten Cadet-Athletes Named to Patriot League Academic All-League Team

BETHLEHEM, PA - Army West Point track & field sees ten cadet-athletes named to the Patriot League's Academic All-League Team, as announced today by the conference.
The ten honorees marks the most from any program in the conference, with six women garnering recognition with four on the men's side receiving the honor.
Nathan Davis, So. - East Greenbush, NYÂ (Civil Engineering)
- Finished second in the 3K steeplechase at the Patriot League Outdoor Championships.
Emily Fink, Jr. – Three Lakes, WI (Civil Engineering)
- Finished first in the shot put at the Patriot League Outdoor Championships.
- Also secured a second place finish in the hammer throw.
Javan Guevara-Cragwell, Jr. - Derby, CT (Chemical Engineering)
- Placed second in the triple jump at the Patriot League Outdoor Championships.
- Also finished third place finish in the long jump.
Joanna Halfhill, Jr. – Mansfield, OH (Physics)
- Finished sixth in the 3K steeplechase at the Patriot League Outdoor Championships.
- Also placed fourth as part of the 4x800m relay team.
Brian McSweeney, Jr. – East Brunswick, NJ (Mechanical Engineering)
- Placed third in the pole vault at the Patriot League Outdoor Championships.
Carlos Posey, So. – Sikeston, MO (Nuclear Engineering)
- Finished second in the long jump at the Patriot League Outdoor Championships.
Charlotte Richman, Jr. – Portland, OR (Engineering Psychology)
- Finished first in the 10K at the Patriot League Outdoor Championships.
- Was also on the podium in the 5K with a third-place finish.
Sophia Sandy, Sr. – Aurora, IL (Life Science)
- Placed third in the 10K at the Patriot League Outdoor Championships.
Samantha Sheppard-Moore, Sr. – Reno, NV (Mathematical Sciences)
- Finished seventh in the pole vault at the Patriot League Outdoor Championships.
Brooke Stratman, Sr. – Chandler, AZ (Environmental Science)
- Placed second in the javelin throw at the Patriot League Outdoor Championships.
