Pabellon Advances to NCAA Men's Gymnastics Finals

COLUMBUS, OHIO - Thirteen members of the Army West Point men's gymnastics team journeyed to Columbus to participate in the NCAA Championship qualifying round on Friday afternoon.

Maddox Pabellon of the Black Knights secured a spot in the finals for his performance on the pommel horse, ranking 12th with a score of 13.800.
In the all-around competition, Jaden Blank clinched fifth place, with a score of 77.831.
For the floor competition, Franco Peirano led the charge for the Black Knights, landing in 27th place with a score of 13.166. Additionally, Jaden Blank, Max Rubi, and Steven Manolakis represented Army, earning scores of 12.900, 11.833, and 11.433, respectively.
Individually, Gabe Almeida, Jaden Blank, Blaze Kennedy, and Noah Duran all competed in the pommel horse event. Almeida scored 12.900, Blank earned 12.233, and Duran received 11.733.
Kennedy, Blank, and Almeida also demonstrated their skills in the still rings event, earning marks of 12.933, 12.666, and 12.633, respectively.
In the still rings event, Army held four representatives. Nick Lester scored 14.100, Steven Manolakis earned 14.066, Franco Peirano received 14.000, and Jaden Blank secured 13.766.
During the parallel bars event, Blaze Kennedy led the charge for Army with a score of 13.266. Jaden Blank, Jackson Pophal, and Jacob Brenner also competed, receiving scores of 13.133, 13.100, and 12.733, respectively.
Jaden Blank of Army ascended into the top 14 in the high bar event with a score of 13.066. Tucker Blanchard and Zachary Perez also participated, earning marks of 12.466 and 12.433.
