Daily, DiDomencio, Lewis and Winokur Selected as Football's Team Captains for the 2024 Season

WEST POINT, N.Y – The Army West Point football team and head coach Jeff Monken have announced their team captains for the 2024 season. Rising seniors Bryson Daily, Max DiDomenico, Kyle Lewis and Cody Winokur will be leading the Black Knights in the fall.
Daily started 10 games at quarterback last season for the Black Knights becoming only the second Army QB to rush and pass for over 900 yards in a season. Daily accounted for a team-high 14 touchdowns (seven rushing, seven passing). The Abernathy, Texas native was named a second-team Phil Steele All-Independent selection following the season.
DiDomencio, a native of Schertz, Texas started in all 11 games that he played at safety, logging 53 tackles, two interceptions, three passes defended and a forced fumble.
Lewis, a defensive lineman from Scottsdale, Ariz. played in all 12 games in 2023, logging a career-high 25 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, one sack, forcing one fumble and recovering a fumble.
Winokur, a defensive lineman from Severna Park, Md. is the story of ultimate perseverance. He appeared in eight games for the Black Knights in 2019 and 2020, before serving on active duty as a Cannon Crew member with Charlie Battery 2-15 Field Artillery Regiment in Fort Drum, New York in 2021 and 2022. He attained the rank of SGT and earned an Expert Soldier Badge and attended Air Assault School. Winokur rejoined the team with two years of eligibility left prior to the 2023 season, playing in six games.
Last season, Jimmy Ciarlo, Connor Finucane, Austin Hill and Leo Lowin served as team captains.
The Black Knights open the 2024 season at Michie Stadium on Friday, August 31 vs. Lehigh with kickoff set for 6pm.
