Six Wrestlers set for NCAA Championships

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Army West Point Wrestling is sending six competitors to this weekend's NCAA Championships in Kansas City, after a successful EIWA Championships campaign and a regular season in which that squad went 7-4 in dual meets, and 6-1 in EIWA duals.

Who's Competing: Ethan Berginc, 125lb; Braden Basile, 133lb; Matthew Williams, 149lb; Gunner Filipowicz, 165lb; Ben Pasuik, 174lb; Lucas Stoddard, 285lb.

When: March 21-23

Where: T-Mobile Arena, Kansas City, Mo.

How to Watch: The ESPN family of networks, including ESPN+, will cover the championships.

How We Qualified: Each Black Knight wrestler punched their ticket to the NCAA Championships automatically via their finish at the EIWA Championships, with each weight class being earmarked a set number of automatic berths by conference.

Last Time at NCAAs: Berginc and Pasuik each are returning competitors at the NCAA Championships. Berginc—a sophomore—qualified in 2023 as a freshman, while the senior Pasuik is making his fourth appearance. Additionally, Nate Lukez qualified for the Black Knights last season.
