WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point Football held its NFL Pro Day on Tuesday afternoon. Eight Army senior players who are NFL hopefuls participated in the workout.
11 total NFL scouts were in attendance, representing nine different clubs (New York Giants, New York Jets, New England Patriots, Jacksonville Jaguars, Minnesota Vikings, Las Vegas Raiders, Philadelphia Eagles, Green Bay Packers and Carolina Panthers).
Jimmy Ciarlo turned in an impressive workout, repping 34 on the 225lb bench press, which would have been tied for the second most out of all participants at last month's NFL Combine in Indianapolis. His mark would have only been beaten by an offensive lineman.
Joshua Lingenfelter was right behind Ciarlo, putting up an impressive 30 reps on the bench press.
Quindrelin Hammonds was the fastest among the group, running a 4.48 40-yard dash.
Ciarlo and Leo Lowin each turned in times of 6.97 in the 3-cone drill which would have ranked in the Top-20 of all Combine participants.
Army currently has five active NFL players, all of whom entered the league as UDFA's: Jon Rhattigan (LB, Seattle Seahawks), Cole Christiansen (LB, Kansas City Chiefs), Elijah Riley (DB, Pittsburgh Steelers), Brett Toth (OL, Carolina Panthers) and Andre Carter (LB, Minnesota Vikings).
Army has had 28 all-time NFL draft selections. The last came in 2008 when Caleb Campbell was selected in the seventh round by the Detroit Lions.
The 2024 NFL Draft will take place April 25-27 in Detroit, Mich.
