Cold Shooting Causes Men's Hoops to Fall at Bucknell

LEWISBURG, PA. – The Army West Point men's basketball team fell on the road to Bucknell Sunday afternoon by a score of 54-41.
Cold shooting plagued the Black Knights the entire game, scoring a season low 41 points. Their shooting percentage of 28.6 percent was the second worst of the season and only four made threes ties the fewest on the year. They also had a season low five assists.
Abe Johnson was the highlight of the game for the Black Knights scoring 12 points on 5-8 shooting to go with seven boards.
Behind a strong start from Johnson and lock down defense, the Black Knights held the lead for 13:53 in the first half, but then Bucknell took the lid of the basket and took the lead and never looked back.
The Bison finished the game shooting 40 percent from the field and also out-rebounded Army 42-35. The Bucknell bench ended up making a huge difference in the game outscoring Army's 27-11.
Next up for the Black Knights is one last regular season home game as they take on American at Christl Arena on Wednesday at 4 PM.
