Gennarelli Lands on AP All-America Team

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point sophomore offensive lineman Paolo Gennarelli has been named to the Associated Press All-America third-team.
Gennarelli has started in all 13 games this season at right guard.
Last Friday, Gennarelli and his offensive line teammates were presented with the Joe Moore Award, for being the most outstanding offensive line unit in college football.
Earlier this season, the Campton Hills, Ill native Gennarelli was named to The Sporting News Midseason All-America Team and also earned the Outland Trophy National Player of the Week honor for games during the weekend of Oct. 19 vs. East Carolina, as selected by the Football Writers Association of America.
Entering bowl season, Gennarelli is graded as the ninth-highest guard according to Pro Football Focus in the country (80.1).
The teams were selected by a vote of 45 AP Top 25 voters.
