KAPOLEI, Hawai'i – The Army West Point golf team moved up two spots on the leaderboard at the Kapolei Invitational after the second round and sit in eighth place.

The Black Knights shot a 294 (+6) as a team on Wednesday and are at 13-over for the tournament. Hawai'i and Miami University are tied atop the leaderboard at 2-under par. Sakke Siltala of Texas State and Ryan Abuan are leading the way at 4-under in a battle for the individual title.

TOURNAMENT NOTES
• Dragon Theam continued his good play and moved up 21 spots on the leaderboard with a 1-under 71 on Wednesday.
• Theam now sits in a tie for 11th with a 73 on Tuesday and a 71 on Wednesday.
• Theam had two birdies and an eagle in his first nine holes.
• John Heckel Jr. finished even par in his second round with a 72 and climbed 23 spots to 31st on the leaderboard.
• He had four birdies during his round.
• Josh Kim carded a 2-over 74 and sits in 35th place heading into the final round.

The third round of the Kapolei Invitational is set for Thursday at Kapolei Golf Club with the teams teeing off at 3 PM ET to decide the champion.
