Four Black Knights finished in double figures, Josh Scovens and Ryan Curry each had 12 points, AJ Allenspach and Jared Cross each had 11. It was a career high for Allenspach
The first half started fast, with Army jumping out to a 7-5 lead just under three minutes in. At the halfway point of the first half, the Terriers held a 18-16 lead.
After that defense reigned supreme, Boston closed the half on a 12-7 run but neither team scored in the final 2:50 of the first half.
TJ Small and Curry led the way in the first half with five points each.
AJ Allenspach began to take over in the second half, he tied things up then gave Army the lead with 9:58 left in the second half.
Then it was Scovens' turn to get going. After being held scoreless in the first half, he led the way with all 12 of his points in the seconds.
A Cross corner three to make it a four-point game with 5:25 left and the Black Knights didn't look back. The entire team caught fire, shooting 58.3 percent from the field and 45.5 percent from three in the second half.
While the offense was buzzing, the defense didn't slow down either. Army held the Terriers to 27.6 percent shooting from the floor and 21.4 percent from three in the final 20 minutes.
In the final 6:17 of the game, the Black Knights outscored BU 22-10, holding the Terriers to 2-11 shooting.
Army's bench scored 24 points in the second half compared to Boston's 11.
Going 15-19 from the free throw line is the most makes from the charity stripe from Army this season.
The freshman combo of Josh Scovens and Ryan Curry continued their hot streak. Over the last three games they have combined for 72 points, 20 rebounds, 18 assists, seven blocks, and seven steals.
The Black Knights now return home to take on Bucknell on Saturday Jan. 27 at 1 PM in Christl Arena. There will be a baby race at halftime.
