Gymnastics Falls at Michigan

Ann Arbor, MI - The Army West Point Gymnastics Team traveled to Ann Arbor, Michigan where they fell to the Michigan Wolverines 382.950-412.500. As a team, the Black Knights scored 62.550 on the floor, 62.850 on the Pommel Horse, 62.400 on Still Rings, 62.950 on Parallel Bars, 62.250 on High Bars, and the highest team score of the day came on Vault in which they scored a 69.950.
Franco Peirano took home Army's highest score of the day on Vault with a 14.300. Nick Lester was just behind in with the second-top score for the Black Knights in the same event, posting a 14.200. Steve Manolakis was the top performer for Army on the floor where he scored 13.100. Gabe Almeida put up the Black Knight's best score on the Pommel Horse at 13.450. Blaze Kennedy saw the highest Army mark in two events. Kennedy finished with a 12.800 on Still Rings and a 13.450 on Parallel Bars. Rounding out the top finishers for Army was Zachary Perez as he put up a 13.150 on High Bars.
