Scovens Three-Peats as Patriot League Rookie of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – For the fourth time this season and the third week in a row, Josh Scovens has taken home Patriot League Rookie of the Week honors the league announced Tuesday afternoon.
This is the first time since Kyle Wilson in 2012-13 that an Army player has won the award four times. He has the Army record, winning five times during the 2012-13 season.
Scovens had yet another standout performance in Army's win over Merchant Marine. He picked up his second career double-double and became the first Army freshman since at least 2012-13 to have three consecutive games with 20 or more points. He also had three blocks and two assists.
He is the leading scorer and rebounder on the team while being second in assists, blocks and steals.
Army now turns its attention to Patriot League play as the Cadets take on Lafayette Wednesday night at 7 PM in Easton, Pa.
