Morris Hired as Assistant Football Strength Coach

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point football Head Coach Jeff Monken has announced the addition of John Morris as an assistant strength and conditioning coach who will work under Head Strength and Conditioning Coach Conor Hughes and his staff.
Morris comes to West Point after spending the 2023 season working for the University of North Texas. With the Mean Green, he was responsible for managing all sports science and technology while assisting with implementing mobility, weightlifting, speed, and conditioning programs.
Before North Texas, Morris spent the 2022 season as an intern with the Ohio State football program.
This is his second stop with Army football, as he spent two months as a summer intern under Hughes' guidance in 2021. He also spent time with Harvard University assisting with all 42 sports programs.
Morris graduated from Merrimack College, where he received his bachelor's and master's.
