Knox Dent Named USILA Scholar All-American

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point goalkeeper Knox Dent was named a USILA 2023 Scholar All-American.

"I am so happy and proud of Knox being named Scholar All-American," Head Coach Joe Alberici said. "Knox has earned many honors this year: All-American, All-Patriot League, Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Year. However, this honor may be his greatest because it speaks to work ethic and achievement both on the field and in the classroom."

Dent was one of the best goalkeepers in the nation this past season, ranking fifth in the country in goals against average only allowing 9.51 per game.

The senior was heroic throughout Army's postseason run in the Patriot League and NCAA Tournaments. He made 52 saves in the Black Knight's four postseason games to guide them to a Patriot League title and to their first NCAA Tournament win since 2010.
