WEST POINT, NY - Army West Point men's tennis has released its 2023 fall schedule, announced today by head coach Randy Rowley. The Black Knights will compete in seven competitions in total in the fall, hitting the road six times after beginning the campaign at home.
FULL FALL SCHEDULE
The Black Knights begin with hosting the Army Invitational on Sept. 15-17 on post at West Point, a year after hosting the invite in conjunction with Marist College. Army will hit the road the following weekend for the first of two trips to Binghamton in the fall, competing from Sept. 22-24 in the first Invitational.
October 6th begins a busy weekend for the Black Knights, who will be split up across both coasts. Army will head to the Irvine Invitational hosted by UC Irvine in California, while the ITA Regionals will take place closer to home in New Haven, CT., hosted by Yale University.
The weekend beginning Oct. 27 also sees a pair of competitions for the Black Knights, heading back to Binghamton on the local side from the 27th-29th. Army will also send athletes down to Winter Park, Florida for the Rollins Invitational hosted by Rollins College.
The fall season will conclude with a trip to service-academy rival Air Force on Nov. 3-5. Army will compete in the Air Force Invitational out in Colorado Springs to conclude the fall slate. Army will use the fall season to prepare for the championship season in the spring, following a 2023 campaign which saw Army post a 6-1 record in the Patriot League on the way to the second seed in the conference playoffs.
