Volleyball Announces 2023 Schedule

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point volleyball team announced its 2023 schedule on Tuesday, debuting a 25-match schedule for Army.
The schedule highlights 14 home matches, including the Army Invitational and the Black Invitational.
The Black Knights open the season at home with the Army Invitational on August 25-26 where Army will face off against Fairfield, California, and Central Connecticut.
The Black Knights continue the homestand with the Black Knight Invitational on September 1-3. The Cadets will host Liberty, Yale, and High Point.
Army will then head down south to Athens, Georgia for the Georgia Invitational. The Black Knights will compete against Samford, Jacksonville, and host Georgia (Sept. 7-8).
"We are extremely excited to release our 2023 schedule. We've prepared a challenging pre-season schedule that our team is ready for. It is exciting to start with two tournaments at home and give our loyal fans and community a first look at the great potential of our team. I also think competing at Georgia will be an incredible opportunity for us to showcase our grit, skill, and will to win. Army will open conference play on the road with matches against Bucknell (Sept. 15) and Lafayette (Sept. 16). The Black Knights will also have road matches against Holy Cross (Sept. 29), Colgate (Sept. 30), Lehigh (Oct. 14), Loyola (Nov. 3), American (Nov. 4), and will head to Annapolis, Md. for the annual Star Match versus Navy on Nov. 11.
On the banks of the Hudson, the Black Knights will have eight conference home matches. Army will host Loyola (Sept. 22), American (Sept. 23), Navy (Oct. 7), Lehigh (Oct. 8), Lafayette (Oct. 20), Bucknell (Oct. 21), Colgate (Oct. 28), and Holy Cross on Oct. 29.
The Patriot League Tournament will take place on November 14, 17, and 19.
