Sophie McKenzie Named to Academic All-Patriot League Team

Bethlehem, Pa. – Army West Point women's tennis senior Sophie McKenzie was named to the 2023 Academic All-Patriot League Team announced by the league on Thursday.

In the 2022-23 season, singles McKenzie went 9-3 and went 1-1 in the spring in singles. In doubles, she also went 10-4 for the season and went 5-1 in the spring season.

The La Canada, Calif. native is majoring in life sciences with honors and has a 3.68 cumulative GPA. She is also a two-time recipient of the Superintendent's Award for Achievement, awarded to the top six through 15% of each class, is a six-time Dean's List honoree, and received the honor of Distinguished Cadet in 2021.
