Diving Wraps up Competition at NCAA Zone A Championships

MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – The Army West Point swimming and diving team were represented by three Cadet–athletes at the NCAA Zone A Championships, as competition wrapped up Tuesday afternoon.
How it Happened
Army's Minh Donnell, Isaac Newman, and Abigail Gibbs competed in both the 1M and 3M dives over the course of two days at the campus of West Virginia University.
Sophomore Isaac Newman highlighted the Black Knights, finishing 28th in the prelims of the 1M dive (260.95). Newman also finished 30th in the 3M dive with a final score of 277.15.
In the 3M Dive prelims, Minh Donnell finished 34th with a score of 247.85 as well as placed 37th in the 1M Dive, finishing with a final score of 230.15. Army's Abigail Gibbs also competed in the 1M Dive, finishing 53rd with a score of 217.70. Gibbs also competed in the 3M Dive, placing 47th with a final score of 228.25.
