Bartholomay & Duffy Earn ILWomen Midseason All-American Honors

WEST POINT, NY - No. 13 Army West Point women's lacrosse sees junior goalkeeper Lacey Bartholomay and freshman midfielder Brigid Duffy named to the ILWomen Midseason All-American list, as announced today.
Bartholomay was named to the third team while Duffy garnered honorable mention. The duo were also named to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List earlier this month, an award given annually to the top men's and women's collegiate lacrosse player.
Bartholomay has been among the nation's best this season, boasting an 8-0 record while starting ten games for Army. The top goalkeeper in the Patriot League throughout the season, she currently leads the conference in save-percentage (min. 10 saves). Her .520 save-percentage also ranks top-10 in the country, landing her in ninth-place overall. Bartholomay has stood tall in big moments for the Black Knights, making 19 saves in the win at No. 19 Jacksonville before stopping 12 of 17 shots faced to take down No. 9 Rutgers. She's helped Army jump out to a 4-0 start in Patriot League play, collecting nine saves with four goals allowed versus Holy Cross while stopping 11 of 19 shots on target against Colgate. Playing a full 60-minutes just three times in ten games due to Army's dominance, Bartholomay has logged 7.70 saves per game this season. Bartholomay has earned Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week on two separate occasions this season.
Duffy has been a revelation for Army in its 10-0 start for the season, leading the Black Knights in goals in eight of ten contests to begin the campaign. Duffy's 39 goals leads the Patriot League by 11 through ten contests, while ranking seventh in the country in goals scored. Her 3.9 goals per game is sixth-best in the country and tops among all freshmen in the nation. Duffy has scored multiple goals in each game this season, including seven straight with at least a hat trick. She's logged 48 draw controls which also ranks sixth in the Patriot League and second on the Black Knights, while leading the team with 17 ground balls. Duffy scored a career-best seven goals in the win over Boston University to open Patriot League and logged a game-high five goals in the 12-10 win at No. 19 Jacksonville. She most recently helped Army overcome a six-goal deficit on the road at Lehigh, scoring five times to lead Army to a 15-14 victory. Duffy is a 3x Patriot League Rookie of the Week this season to go along with a Patriot League Midfielder of the Week award.
The Black Knights will look to move to 11-0 this Saturday with a road matchup at American beginning at noon on ESPN+.
