Wrestling Concludes Season at NCAA Championships

TULSA, Okla. – The Army West Point wrestling team wrapped up the 2022-23 season Frida afternoon at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Okla.
Entering the NCAA Championships, Army was represented by three Cadet Athletes at the tournament, one of whom advanced to the second day of competition.
How it Happened
#12 (in the country) Ben Pasiuk kicked the afternoon off for the Black Knights. Pasiuk the 14th seed competing against 23-seed Cade DeVos of South Dakota State.
In the first period, DeVos got on the board first with a takedown, making it a 2-0 match. Pasiuk made it a one-point match with an escape, making it 2-1.
After a scoreless second period, DeVos extended his lead with a reversal, making it a 4-1 bout. With riding time, Cade DeVos defeated Pasiuk by a 6-1 decision.
