Golf Concludes Second Round in Puerto Rico

DORADO, Puerto Rico – The Army West Point golf team finished up the second round of the Dorado Beach Collegiate Tournament and after 14th heading into the final day.

The Black Knights currently sit in 14th place with a team score of 617 (+41). Cincinnati took over the team lead at 32-under par. Ryan Ford of Cincinnati is now tied with Symon Balbin on UNC Greensboro for the tournament lead at 11-under par.

TOURNAMENT NOTES
- Rob Ferris, who is playing as an individual, had Army's top round of the day with a 2-under 70.
- He shot 1-under the front and back nine and finished with five birdies.
- Ferris had a stretch of three birdies in four holes and was at 4-under par heading into his final two holes.
- Gary Bullard and John Heckel Jr. both shot 3-over par on their rounds.

The Black Knights finish up the first tournament of the spring on Tuesday with the final round starting at 8 a.m. at TPC Dorado Beach.
