Scovens drops Double-Double, Men's Hoops Falls To CCSU

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point men's basketball team (0-7, 0-0 PL) fell to Central Connecticut State (2-4, 0-0 NEC) on Wednesday night at Christl Arena.
Cold shooting in the first half and turnovers doomed the Black Knights. They shot 1-12 from deep in the first half and 8-29 from the field.
The second half the Black Knights were able to shoot at a high clip (52 percent from the field, 50 percent from three) but turnovers again did them in. They ended the game with 16 of them leading to 22 Blue Devils points.
Josh Scovens had a career high 16 points to go with 10 boards for his first career double-double.
Army will now turn its attention to a game with SUNY Maritime on Friday night at 6 pm in Christl Arena.
