Former Army Offensive Lineman Brett Toth Signed to Carolina Panthers Active Roster

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Former Army West Point offensive lineman Brett Toth was signed to the Carolina Panthers active roster from the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad this week.
Toth is expected to see his first action of the 2023 season tomorrow as the Panthers host the Houston Texans.
Toth has played in 17 career regular-season games, including 11 in the 2021 season with Philadelphia.
A versatile lineman, Toth has seen snaps at center, right guard, right tackle, and even as a tight end in his career.
A first lieutenant in the U.S. Army, Toth received a waiver to pursue his NFL career while serving as an active-duty soldier.
Toth played in a total of 31 games for the Black Knights in his four seasons at Army West Point (2014-17). He became a key contributor on the offensive line in his final two seasons, playing in 26 straight games from 2016 to 2017. He helped anchor an offensive line that guided the Army rushing attack to No. 1 in the nation in 2017 at 362.7 yards per game.
Including Toth, Army has five former players on NFL rosters.
