Hockey Set For Ice Breaker Tournament at North Dakota & Bemidji State

WEST POINT, NY - Army West Point hockey (0-1-0, 0-0-0 AHA) will head west to compete in College Hockey Inc's annual Ice Breaker Tournament, which helps officially kickoff the start of the college hockey season.
The Black Knights will take on No. 7 North Dakota on Friday night before a matchup with Bemidji State on Saturday. Bemidji will open its season with Wisconsin on Friday night, as the Badgers will then take on North Dakota on Saturday.

The trip sees several Black Knights return to their native region, as Army's four Minnesotans on the roster marks the most from any state.
Army opened its season this past Sunday at Tate Rink, falling to Union College by a score of 6-0. The Black Knights were unable to score on five power-play opportunities as the Garnet Chargers took a 3-0 lead in the first period on way to the victory.
