Migault and Gibbs Earn Patriot League Honors

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point swimmer Aurelie Migault was named Patriot League Women's Swimmer of the Week for the second time this season. Diver Abigail Gibbs was named the Patriot League Women's Diver of the Week for the first time this season, announced on Tuesday.
At the meet vs. Penn State on January 13, Migault finished first in the 200 breast with a time of 2:14.94 as well as finished second in the 100 breast with a time of 1:02.54. The Coppell, Texas native finished first in the 100 breast vs. Bucknell with a time of 1:03.36, Migault also finished first in the 200 breast (2:16.56), and finished first in the 400 free (3:29.56) and 200 medley relays (1:44.94) against the Bison.
Gibbs finished first in the 3M dive with a score of 289.65. The River Forest, Ill. native also finished second in the 1M dive with a final score of 255.30 in the meet vs Bucknell on January 14.
In the meet against Penn State on January 13, Gibbs finished fourth in the 1M dive with a score of 273.68. Gibbs also finished fifth in the 3M dive with a final score of 247.88. This weekend Gibbs qualified for NCAA Zones in the 1M and 3M dives.
Sophomore Owen Harlow also received an honorable mention.
Moving forward, the Black Knight men's and women's teams return home to face Loyola Maryland at Crandall Pool on Saturday, January 28 at 12:00 p.m.
