Army Continues Strong Start To Fall Season

The Army West Point women's tennis team sent two different set of Cadets to compete at invitational.

Lehigh Invitational (Results)
Teams	Army, Saint Joseph's, Colgate, Lehigh
Location	Lewis Indoor Tennis (Bethlehem, Pa.)

The Black Knights dominated the competition, posting a 20-3 record in singles and 9-2 record in doubles.

Five Black Knights – Paige Herremans, Cooper Jackson, Julia Kelly, Sophie McKenzie and Jenna Sabile – went 3-0 in singles competition. Maria Drobotova and Isabella Brilliant each went 2-1 in singles play.
In doubles, the tandem of Jackson and Herremans, along with Kelly and Sabile, won all three of their matches.

Location	Tennis Courts (Storrs, Conn.)

Emma Sy led the way for the Black Knights in singles with a 3-0 record. She defeated Sacred Heart's Olivia Kharkover, 6-3, 6-1, Bryant's Hannah O'Briend, 6-4, 6-2, and Wesleyan's Renna Mohsen-Breen, 6-3, 6-2.

Ylan Duong and Vennmukiil Mathivanan also had winning records, going 2-1 in three matches.

Cadets Capsules

Julia Kelly and Jenna Sabile both improved to a team-best 6-0 in singles. The doubles partners are also a team-best 5-0 in doubles.
Cooper Jackson has won her last five singles matches.
