Six Black Knights Named CGA All-American Scholar-Athletes

WEST POINT, N.Y. ---Â Army West Point Men's Gymnastics earned a spot on the 2022 National Academic Team Top-10 List, while six Black Knights were tabbed All-America Scholar-Athletes, as announced by The College Association Gymnastics.
The CGA honored 97 individual gymnasts as 2022 First Team All-America Scholar-Athletes for attaining a 3.5 grade point average or higher and 41 Second Team All-America Scholar-Athletes for attaining a grade point average between 3.499 and 3.2.Â

Army claimed the tenth spot on the list after finishing the season with a team GPA of 3.112. Joseph Buselmeier, Kalvin Kingshill, Patrick Armstrong, and Jackson Pophal earned first team honors. Two Black Knights earned second team honors: Hunter Mamawal and Mitchell Monahan.
