Gymnastics Claims First ECAC Championship Title Since 2016

The win marks the 15th ECAC championship team in program history and first since 2016 (1934, 1935, 1937, 1938, 1950, 1951, 1952, 1956, 1958, 1960, 1962, 2005, 2015, 2016, 2025).
Army had four medalists in total in four events to push the Black Knights past Navy, William & Mary, Springfield, Greenville and Simpson. Joseph Buselmeier placed third on both still rings and floor exercise to lead the way.
Army claimed the top spot on pommel horse and still rings as a team while placing second in three other events for an all-around consistent performance.
Jake Prabhakaran had an important 13.100 mark early on in high bar which put him in second-place in the event overall. Jaden Blank went on to place eighth with a 12.850 mark in the event. The Black Knights had a 51.350 team score in the event which put them in second among the six teams.
Ben Aguilar and Joseph Buselmeier paced Army with a 13.450 mark on floor exercise, with the duo tying for third-place overall. Army's 52.900 team score was good for second-highest at the meet.
Buselmeier also led Army on still rings with a 13.150 as Conor Heary logged sixth-place with a 12.850. The Black Knights posted a season-best 51.500 in the event to pace all squads for the meet as well.
Heary had a second-place finish on parallel bars with a big score for the Black Knights of 13.350. Jacob Brenner also hit 13.000 in the event which placed him sixth. Army logged a 50.900 team mark in the event for second place in the meet.
Prabhakaran also led Army on pommel horse, posting a 13.400 to match Noah Duran's mark as the duo tied for fourth place. Maddox Pabellon also had a 13.000 showing for a sixth-place finish, putting three Black Knights in the top-six in the event. Army's 52.550 team mark was good for first-place by a comfortable margin.
Nick Lester recorded the top score on vault for the Black Knights with a 13.800 as both Pabellon and Blank came in with a 13.650.
