Schenkel Team Leaderboard - Final Schenkel Individual Leaderboard - Final

STATESBORO, Ga. - The Army West Point golf team wrapped up the 42nd Schenkel Invitational with a 15th place finish at Forest Heights Country Club.

The Black Knights posted a weekend best score of 301 (+13) on the final day and ended up 53-over for the tournament. The hosts, Georgia Southern, remained at the top of the team leaderboard at 25-under par to win the team title. College of Charleston's Kieron van Wyk took advantage of his two-shot going into the final round and won by two strokes at 12-under for the tourmament.

TOURNAMENT NOTES

Tom Katsenes fired a 3-under 69 on the final day for the best round by a Black Knight this weekend.
Katsenes now has seven under par rounds this season to lead the Black Knights.
He was Army's top finisher on the leaderboard at 49th after going 6-over for the tournament.
Tom Katsenes is the top Black Knight on the team leaderboard in 74th place and shot a 6-over 78 on Saturday.
John Heckel Jr. had a good opening nine holes as he was 1-under making the turn and finished with a 3-over 75 on the final day.

The Black Knights are off for a few weekends and is back in action on April 11 for the first of two rounds of the Shark Invitational, hosted by LIU.
