LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Black Knights men's tennis team defeated Bucknell, 4-2, in its Patriot League opener on Saturday.

Doubles
The Black Knights took the doubles point for a 1-0 lead. The No. 3 team of Jake Huarte and Nathan Jose won 6-2, while in two doubles, Diego Huttepain and Samuel Eden pulled out a 6-3 win.

Singles
The Black Knights needed wins in five and six singles to close out the match. Bucknell tied the match after winning in one and four singles, with Samuel Eden winning in three singles, 7-6(1), 6-4, sandwiched in between.
Samuel Haikal and Jake Huarte pulled out wins in three sets. Haikal, in five singles, defeated Ink Chen, 6-1, 4-6, 6-1. Huarte topped Nicolas Grunig, 6-4, 1-6, 6-3, in six singles to clinch the match.
