WEST POINT, N.Y. – Jalen Rucker, Josh Caldwell, and Aaron Duhart combined to score 52 points to help pace the Black Knights to a 73-60 win over the Bucknell Bison on senior day on Wednesday night.
GAME SUMMARY
The Black Knights led by as much as 24 points in the second half and for 91.6 percent of the game.
Trailing 9-7 with 16:34 left in the first half, Army went on a 9-0 run over the next three minutes for the sixth and final lead change of the game. Freshman TJ Small tied the game with a layup before the senior backcourt tandem of Josh Caldwell and Aaron Duhart combined for the next seven points.
Bucknell cut Army's lead to 20-18 with eight minutes left in the first half, but a 3-pointer by Duhart and a layup by Caldwell pushed the lead to 25-18. Rucker, then, followed with a pair of triples as the Black Knights led 31-22 heading into the final five minutes of the half. Army closed out the final two minutes on an 8-0 run for a 39-26 advantage at the break.
The Black Knights continued their dominance in the second half. Army pushed its lead to 57-36 with 12 minutes remaining after a 9-0 run. TJ Small once again started the run, drilling a 3-pointer. Rucker, Matt Dove and Josh Caldwell also contributed to the run. A free throw by Charlie Peterson at the 7:44 mark gave the Black Knights their largest lead of the game at 64-40.

CADETS CAPSULES
- Jalen Rucker had his ninth 20-point game of the season after scoring a team-high 21 points. He also led the team in assists with five.
- Josh Caldwell scored 19 points, grabbed three, had two steals, and one block. He is now tied with Tanner Omlid for the single-season record in steals (63).
- Aaron Duhart added 12 points.
- Matt Dove grabbed a team-high nine rebounds.
- Five of the six seniors started – Jordan Coleman, Aaron Duhart, Ben Kinker, John Scully, and Brendan Thiele.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Army improved to 10-4 at home. The 10 home wins are tied for the most at Christl Arena in program history.
- The Black Knights swept the Bison for the first time since 2008-09 season and have won three straight in the series for the first time since winning four straight from 2007-09.
- Army had a season-high 61 bench points – with Josh Caldwell and Jalen Rucker coming off the bench to score a combined 40 points.
