LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Army Black Knights swept the Bucknell Bison on Saturday afternoon.

Match Synopsis
Eight days after a four-set win in Gillis Field House, Army made quick work of the Bison on the road.

The Black Knights opened the first set on a 7-2 run in a set they never trailed in. Army led 12-10 before increasing its lead to 17-11 with Alyssa Lukasik having two kills. The Black Knights ended the set on a 6-0 run.

The second set was tied at 11-11, before Army took over. Kills by Diana Ethridge, Lukasik, and Savannah Bray gave Army a 14-12 lead. Army scored three straight points for a 17-13 lead. Army led 24-18 before closing out the set with a kill by Bray for a 25-21 win.

Army clamped down on the defensive side to pull away in the third set. The Black Knights went on a 6-0 run to take a 15-8 lead, and then used another 6-0 run for a 21-11 lead. Army ended the match with three straight points.

Paige Fixemer had a team-high 14 kills with a .455 hitting percentage.
Savannah Bray collected 13 digs and had nine kills.
Diana Ethridge led the match with 37 assists.
Sayler Butters had a match-high 18 digs.

The Black Knights have won 12 straight matches against the Bison.
Bucknell had 18 errors and finished with a .056 hitting percentage including two sets with negative hitting percentage.
