Coach's Corner
"This atmosphere was exactly what I had been told coming into today, there was a lot of emotion and adrenaline. Throughout the game we told our team to try to be calm through the storm. It could have gone either way, it was a tight game. I give credit to Coach Taylor and his staff, their players made some big shots. We had our opportunities, unfortunately we did not capitalize on them. In the first half, Hope Brown did a tremendous job on defense holding [Jennifer] Coleman to seven points. We will learn from this, and we have another opportunity when they [Navy] come to see us." - head coach Missy Traversi
