WEST POINT, N.Y. --- Army West Point women's rugby battled on the pitch against Dartmouth making a second half push but ultimately fell 34-28 on Sunday afternoon at the Anderson Rugby Complex.

Dartmouth's offense took off from the start, getting on the board first. Army fought back, making big stops but Dartmouth continued to find the end zone in the first half scoring two more tries to lead 19-0 at the half.

Dartmouth continued the offensive momentum at the start of the second half, scoring two more tries to lead 29-0. Army's offense final got into its groove as Rebecca Syrup touched the end zone to get Army on the board. Codi Butt was successful on the conversion, cutting Dartmouth's led to 29-7. Julia Riekena pushed found a path and scored Army's second try, Butt followed with the conversion to make the score 29-14.

With 12 minutes left, Army's offense went to work again as Sydney Schaaf touched the end zone. Butt was successful on the conversion to make the score 29-21

Dartmouth answered back with a try to make the score 34-2. In the final minute, Naomi Colin found the end zone and Codi Butt completed the conversion going 4-for-4. The time expired and the final score was 34-28.
