Theam Competes at Southeastern Amateur

COLUMBUS, Ga. – Rising junior Dragon Theam spent this past week competing in the Southeastern Amateur at the Country Club of Columbus against some of the top golfers from the region.

The Southeastern Amateur is a top-level amateur golf tournament with a rich history dating back to 1922 - when the tournament was created by Fred Haskins. Each year, the Southeastern Amateur has the great honor of hosting many of the nation's top amateur golfers, from Division I NCAA National Champions to the nation's top Mid-Amateurs.Â

Theam finished the three-day tournament at 18-over par and a total score of 226. He shot back-to-back scores of 74 on the first two days and then carded a 78 on the final round of competition.
