Grete Named to Academic All-League Team

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Alicyn Grete, a sophomore on the Army West Point softball team, was named to the Patriot League's Academic All-League team Monday morning.

A life science major, she maintains a cumulative grade point average of 3.921. Grete finished the season with 115 strikeouts and had an ERA of 2.60. She registered at least nine strikeouts in six games. She had two complete game shutouts in the circle. The Niceville, Fla., native also held a .320 batting average and scored 10 runs.

Grete was one of just four sophomores named to the team.
