Army Wraps up Day One at ECAC/IC4A Championships

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Army West Point men's and women's track and field teams finished up their first day of competition in the ECAC/IC4A Championships on Friday.

Emily Mikoud placed second in the hammer throw with a personal best mark of 61.55m.

The Black Knights took first and second in the javelin throw. August Cook placed first with a mark of 71.22m, while Chris Barrett placed second with a personal best throw of 70.42m.

Marco Risi placed second in the hammer throw with a heave of 60.94m.

In the men's decathlon, Matthew McNamara posted top-four finishes in four of the five events he competed in.
