Four Black Knights Earn All-Patriot League Honors

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Four members of the Army West Point softball team were named all-Patriot League performers the league announced Wednesday morning. Angelina Bebek (2B) and Ally Snelling (SS) were tabbed first team all-league, while Jolie Duong (P) and Taylor Drayton (OF) were named to the second team.
Bebek is one of just three under classmen to be named to the first team. The Downey, Calif., native leads the team in hits (33), doubles (8), runs (22) and on base percentage (.427) and is second on the team with a .344 batting average.
Snelling leads the team with 25 RBIs and two triples. She is second on the team in home runs (5) and hits (28). The Las Vegas, Nev., native had 10 multi-hit games. Her top performance came against Holy Cross on May 8, when she went 3-4 from the dish and belted two home runs.
Duong is 9-2 in the circle this season and has an ERA of 2.44. The Houston native had seven outings which she allowed five or fewer hits in at least six innings of work. She struck out 49 batters. Duong also did some damage from the plate, as she ranks third on the team in doubles with eight and posted a batting average of .288.
Drayton was 22-80 (.275) from the dish this season. The Clayton, N.C., native belted two home runs, had 15 RBIs and scored 14 runs. Her top game came against Lehigh on April 4, when she went 4-5 from the plate and scored two runs. She has earned all-league honors each season that it has been awarded.
