Women's Tennis Tops Loyola in PL Quarterfinals

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The second-seeded Army West Point women's tennis team defeated seventh-seeded Loyola, 4-0, in the Patriot League Quarterfinal Round on Friday.

The Black Knights emerged with the doubles point to hold the early 1-0 advantage. The pairing of Sam DiMaio and Ana Joyner won their match 6-2 in No. 2 doubles. Shortly after Paola Bou and Justine Dondonay secured a 6-0 win on court three. Stephanie Dolehide and Caroline Vincent also enjoyed a 6-1 win in No. 1 singles.

The Black Knights jumped to a 2-0 lead with Dondonay earning a 6-2, 6-0 on court five. Dolehide won by the same score in No. 2 singles to make it 3-0 in favor of Army. Vincent secured the win for the Cadets with a 6-3, 6-1 on the third court.
