Risi, Mikoud Take Home Weekly Honors

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point men's and women's track and field teams took home two weekly honors, the league announced on Tuesday.

Marco Risi was the men's field athlete of the week and Emily Mikoud was tabbed field athlete of the week on the women's side.

Risi won the hammer throw at the Bucknell Quad Meet with an IC4A-qualifying distance of 62.37 meters. The mark is the best in the Patriot League and ranks 64th in NCAA DI. His hammer throw mark is third in Army West Point program history.

Mikoud posted ECAC-qualifying throws in three events, winning the shot put (14.10m), discuss (48.33m) and placing second in the hammer throw (55.81m) at the Bucknell Quad Meet. Her distance in the discus is the best in the Patriot League and the second-best mark of her career.
